if it costs a ton of money, it's a name you paid for. There's only a few active ingredients that are actually effective. Look at the ingredients and you can likely find something that uses the same stuff but you don't pay for a marijuana brand name. All of this stuff existed before the marijuana hobby, lol... just basic horticultural products that existed long before.
a cheap concentrated pyrethrine (southern AG sells one) you can mix up your own spray for 1/10th the price... 8oz product can make gallons of spray, i bet. I don't recall the dose. Pyrethrines are a kill on contact spray, so it has limitations like anything else. Had thrips once and this took care of them along with some sticky traps.
Double check if it is effective against mites. Think those are a bit more robust than other pests.
predator bugs might be something to look into too.
in mym experience, the anecdotal mix some peppermint or essential oil type stuff never works, lol. Sadly, you'll have to use some sort of chemical to do anything useful. Make sure it's not "systemic" - which means it'll absorb into plant and remain there, making flower actually toxic and not just a buzzword. pyrethrine has a 48-72h halflife, if i rcall, but you should still avoid spraying anything on flower, even if not systemic.
