Do these look ok, half way through week 7 with average 10 week grow time? Stacks of trichomes forming and smelling really good but they look quite skinny at the moment and worried they are fox tailing?

Not "fox tailing". You still have 4-5 weeks at least (or more) to go...............buds will be completely different to what you think is going on now and you will probably be wondering why you were ever worried!

Everything looks fine for week 7 – no real signs of foxtailing yet. Buds are just stacking and still have time to fatten up over the next 2–3 weeks. It’s pretty normal for autos (especially sativa-leaning types) to look a bit skinny at this point. Just stay steady and keep conditions stable. They should bulk up nicely!

That's some monumental stretch more than I'd expect from where you switched to 12/12. Because we go generally from 18 to 12, if you still want to keep the high DLI when you switch to 12 you need to up the ppfd quite significantly to make up for the loss of 6 hours. If you keep the plant/light at the same distance and same ppfd as she was at 18 when you flip to 12 she will stretch very hard to reach the higher levels of ppfd required for the shorter flower period of 12 hours. Can't tell from the photo tbh but you should look to top at least once or twice this will encourage lateral branching and plant will spread wider as opposed to taller. I'd be very proud of myself if it was my first grow, well done Mr dmac, looking forward to seeing how much you can pack on those leggy ladies. Best of luck bruh.

Hey there looking great don’t worry about how skinny they are you got them wrapped around the stem there gonna fill into what looks like almost giant long solid nugs It actually looks quite well You won’t know anything about foxtaiking till the nugs are almost fully developed. Foxtails are when you have nugs that are almost formed all the way then they start to grow these small skinny growths off them like a unicorn horn I would say your at the stage where you can start increasing the light intensity more and more. Make sure to be giving good amounts of a flowering stage nutrient. Also because with giving to much cal mag a lot of people will give to much and it causes problems you only need cal mag like 1 or 2 times throught flower especially if your give it a big full dose. Tap water and soil and most nutrients have calcium and magnesium it’s not something you have to give all the time Make sure to keep humidity lower but i would not let you’re vpd get above 2 or much past that Your doing a great job you really are I would say your should start reading up on drying and cutting and buying everything you need so your successful you don’t want ti wait till after you harvest to start figuring out your plan with drying and curing Also if you look at some of your plants they seem to have grown up beside the light. Your plants are getting close to the stage where you can give them as much light as possible so make sure if you have to tie down some of those branch’s keeping them directly under the light intensity

Ps checked your diary again, a supercrop or LST is in order, and once done either lower your light a few cm or turn it up a notch

Yeah they look totally fine for halfway through week 7. White Widow XXL can grow a bit lanky, nothing unusual there. You’ve got healthy trichome build-up, nice vertical stacking, and no signs of stress-related foxtailing. Buds still have time to bulk, pistils are white, and the leaves look good. It’s not behind, it’s just midflower doing its thing. Keep feeding, keep temps&light in check, and you’re on track for that 10-week finish.
