They way these things are bred, who knows which traiits were passed down and are displayed
Just because it has lineage from a particular region, which would impact prevalence of the traits you are intersted in, Doesn't mean they were retained after multiple interbreeding with different plants from different lineage with different adapted traits related to local climates.
sadly, word of mouth might be your most correlative factor to use. Which means all sorts of false-positives and false-negatives will be prevalent in thoss suggestions.
Since you also want to grow autos, you can't clone it once you find one more robust to your local weather. It'll be a crapshoot each and every time.
Autos are also no faster than photoperiods. This is a lie. Outside, they could flower sooner, but the average flower phases are the same. People just compare apples to oranges because they use visual clues for autos and a more accurate starting point for photos (flip to 12/12 or when outside length of darkness reaches tipping point .. bit of a guess outside, but more accurate than when you see preflowers or buds on autos)
So, still possibly a good trait for your context, but not because tehy are 'faster' ... they can't skip the same growth and processes necessary to ripen. These plants are not really different. They merely go into flower due to different causes....
e.g. you want them to flower sooner in the calendar is a good reason to use autos. This might avoid a wet season or other climate-based negatives of your typical harvest season. (when the night lengthens is different depending on region you live in, around herre it's typically sep-oct.) It gets super humid in aug and sep, so finishing before then might be a benefit. OTher factors like yield and early spring climate will matter too.. but if you keep peeling that onion it's just a bunch of ifs and maybes that may or may not apply to your context.
