Hey everyone! I’m growing a Tropicana Cookies Auto and I’m wondering how much longer you think my plant needs before harvest. Also, when would be the right time to start flushing? I’ve attached some pictures — any feedback would be really appreciated! Day ~58

About 10-14 days or when there are 98-99% brown pistils/hairs. You could stop all nutrients and supplements now to let the plant "flush" itself naturally. Nutrient "starvation" at peak maturity can increase trichome quality. There is no need to drown your plants with gallons of water, this does not achieve anything. Just give plain water in normal amounts at at normal intervals for the last 10-14 days..........this is all that is needed as a "flush". Plain water and nothing else for the last 10 days or so.........easy peasy. No need to buy any gimmick products to enhance "flushing", they are BS.........save your money, plain water is the best thing.

In my last run, I also grew Tropicana Cookies by FastBuds, and they took a total of 72 days from seed to harvest. Assuming yours follow a similar timeline, I’d recommend starting the flush around day 58 to day 62. Beginning the flush 10 to 14 days before harvest is generally a good rule of thumb, as it gives the plant enough time to use up any remaining nutrients and improve the overall smoothness and flavor of the final product. Keep an eye on the trichomes and overall plant health—those are good indicators to help you fine-tune the timing.

Flushing at end does not in any way impact the mineral content of flower. This is not a debate. Anything that might impact quality is about what you did over the long term and not so much what you do for a couple weeks at the end. The plant has no excretion system. It has no way to 'flush' anything out of it. If it is in the plant, it's there until it gets used. It cannot shit it out, and you cannot flush it out with excess water. This is nonsense bro-science. Just don't overfeed it. React to toxicities before they become serious issues. No need to flush if you do that. You have overfed, so dialing back would be wise. Maybe even some water-only irrigations. Cause to an effect, not some magic about reducing minerals in flower that was already grown, lol. The materials used to replicate those cells for growth are already there. any negative impact from nutrition provided while it grew is already hardcoded into the plant. Just because some things have been overfed does not mean all things have been overfed. you may find you need to drawback some elements, but keep others elevated to avoid deficiencies. Simply avoid toxicities and deficiencies and you will most likely be in that goldielocks zone. I like to find an upper threshold, then dial back from there. It may waste 'some' nutes but i know if i am giving as much as i can without buildup in the leaves, i am not short-changing growth potential.
