I’ve done several grows and tried various drying methods. In my experience, the following approach delivers the best results: I cut the plant at the base, remove all fan leaves, and hang the entire plant upside down in a tent. Airflow is kept to a minimum—no direct wind should hit the buds. I aim for around 19°C (66°F) and 45–50% humidity. The best results come when drying takes at least 10 days. I use the classic “stem snap test”: when the smaller branches make a soft snapping sound when bent—but don’t fully break—it’s the perfect time. Depending on conditions, this can happen after as little as 6 days. At that point, I trim the buds off the plant, manicure and store them in jars or bags, burping them regularly to prevent mold.

shit, deleted answer to correct a type-o... keyboard didn't "copy" This depends on local climate and willingness to control Temp and RH%. mid to upper 60 F and 57-60% humiditty with a wet trim will still take 9-10 days. I like wet trimming and cutting down to similarly sized buds for the consistency at which it all dries. If you have low RH or warmer temps, it'll dry faster. Hanging entire limbs or entire plants can mitigate this effect without the need for a humidifier in some cases. I strongly suggest you control the RH and use a clean lower level room for cooler temperatures. this is low-cost unless a dehumidifier is needed. dehum and/or AC is costly. I've settled into shooting for a 9-10 day dry the last couple years. I've also had harvests dry in 6-7 days that were smooth and tasty before that. Open aiir drying is fine. No need to close up in a tent unless you are trying to reduce smell with a filter. no direct fans/wind, but should have circulation of some sort in the room. I rely on my humidifier fan off to side of mesh racks - again not blowing toward it. A closed small area would just elevate risk of pathogens or require intake/exhaust which is just wasted electricity for no benefit. just worry about temp and rh.. and not putting overly wet buds into sealed containers... that's 95% of what matters. 2-way humidipaks give room for error in this regard but it is not unlimited. The last few percent of moisture lost absorbing into the humidipaks is fine. if temps and rh are teh same, buds will balance out at same mass (equilibrium with environment) in the bucket or on the racks.

Yeah, I wouldn't wait too much longer for that chop tbh.... Just cut her and hang her upside down in the tent if you have it free. Or any other dark place with a bit of air movement and a controlled environment. The longer she dries, the better. Room temperature and around 60%RH.

3weeks????.............you could harvest now for maximum THC and maximum brain bending head high or leave it another 5-10 days absolute max if you prefer a heavy and sleepy body stone couchlock effect (less THC and more CBD and CBN).

hang in your tent and aim for 60% humidity and as cold as you can get it. i personally use a closet in my room because it stays cold and i can stick a humidifier outside the door and get the humidity up quickly if needed easily. people suggest 60°F and 60% humidity but most people cant get it that cold and i have great results anywhere from 65 to 73°f but just get it as cold as possible and keep the humidity at 60%
