This stuff is so interbred, there's no way to know. if you got a 'landrace' that evolved in a hot region of the world, that'd be a correlation worth looking into. Anything bred and re-bred is less likely to have any specific traits related to past isolation (if any menaingful genetic drift occured in the first place, no gaurantees there either).
So, take any breeder info on that topic as a grain of salt. I wouldn't let it convince you to buy a strain you have less interest in. Buy what you want to grow.
Autoflowers are bred with a plant from a northern region, originally, so those would probably be the worst option. If they turn out fine, just shows how little importance this is... so, sadly, trial and error is your only option here.
