How to get free nutrients.

How do you get a company to send you nutrients for your grow? I have only used FoxFarm and want to use something different but honestly don't want to spend the money. I want to experiment with other nutrients. Not looking for payment, just some free nutrients.

Hey Growmie, If you're trying to get a nutrient company to send you some free products to test, it's possible even if you're not a big-name grower. A lot of these brands are open to sending out samples or even small sponsorships if you show genuine interest and a solid setup. The key is to reach out professionally, either through email or a DM on Instagram, and explain that you’re an active grower who documents your progress and would love the chance to try their line. Let them know you’re not asking for money, just hoping for a chance to experiment with something new and share your honest results. Even mentioning that you’ve used FoxFarm before but want to explore other options can help show you’re not brand-loyal and open-minded. It helps a lot if you have some kind of online presence, even if it's just a grow journal, IG page, or activity in forums like GrowDiaries or Reddit. Companies appreciate growers who can provide solid feedback and maybe a few good photos along the way. Just be polite, keep it short, and show you’re serious about your grows, you might be surprised how many are down to hook you up.

Aesthetic otw to some seeds. Look bruv, anyone sending you free nutrients is full of it (and trying to get market share for their shoddy white label solids). Plenty of folks do free seeds. Free equipment looks like real sponsorship (for example AC Infinity if you ever see someone with more than a generic code off then they are a real influencer (almost certainly not a cannabis one) because they start their programs at like 10k true followers and nowhere allows anything cannabis to get that big and stay that big without wiping channels, so you get randos hocking ACI and all the cannabis people with 10% off codes unless they host their own RSS feed and have forever. Anyone hocking nutrients is gonna be in the same boat, besides do you even want nutrients from that type of recommendation? Just skip the clowns and buzzwords and go for jacks or yara or kosher or someone simple KNF and fermenting is where it is at for closing your own loop in that manner. i can give you some more info if you want to message, rundown of fermenting styles for an upcoming book

Just keep going on GrowDiaries, put some effort into your grow journals, and most importantly – stay true to yourself. If you keep doing your best and share your experiences authentically, it’s only a matter of time before companies start reaching out, maybe asking if you’d like to try out their nutrients or other products.

i spend 30-40/year for 16-20 plants and a breeding cycle. it should be one of your smallest costs. make more diaries. never say negative things. be a shill. solicit various companies.

The only way i know of free nutrients is by harvesting plants and fruits in nature and making them into fermented fruit juice or fermented plant juice using korean natural farming methods. or fpj and ffj and knf. but to save money and have nutrients that will last for more than one run without a ridiculous price tag, look into dry organic amendments. i personally use roots organics terp tea line and dr earth dry amendments. you can nix them with water and end up with basically endless amounts of liquid bottled nutrients. a 4 lb bag for 12-20 bucks that lasts a year and every diary on my page is well worth the price tag and is how i stopped spending so much money on nutrients each

Hey 👋 Nothing in this world is for free. But sometimes you have contests where you can apply for participation with sponsored seeds, and sponsored nutrients from e.g. Plagron. But at the moment there is none. So either you have to wait, or you have to pay.
