Hi guys , can you all help me to decide whether to chop my plants or not. One on the left is a Gorilla glue auto (Free seed) and the one on the right is fast buds gorilla glue auto. They are on day 80 and both have only milky trichomes. No amber. Should i wait longer

I like to use and observe pistils when comes the question of harvesting. Not every strain will develop trichomes in the same manner and even if it does, why would you want to push them to amber side, furthermore it depends also which flowers are inspecting. Low and mids develop differently than tops for instance. Hopefully this helps a little bit 🙏

The in-focuse part of first picture looks like a leaf, and the trichomes on teh calyx are all blurry... looking at wrong trichomes. shit or get off the pot. Don't fret too much. You have to learn by doing to figure out what you prefer no matter what. If you want to accelerate the learning curve, take some buds off at different points and keep them organized/labeled by how much amber you see on them and order in which they were chopped off the plant etc... If you do this, i'd select buds of equivalent apical dominance. Don't compare some larf to a top cola. You can still take the bulk when you 'think' you should, but take some off early and let some continue to ripen.
