Has anyone ever tried to flower cannabis using these cheap red spectrum LED Temu grow lights? Or atleast adding these to your full spectrum LED lights?

Not primarily used for growing but useful for signalling. Sunrise in nature has a predominantly red hue. Sunset in nature has a predominantly far red ratio. This ratio is called the pr/pfr conversion. The photoreceptors pick up on ratio. Signaling cascading effect that play a crucial role in how plants perceive and respond to light, particularly red and far-red light, which influences various developmental processes. In essence, the Pr and Pfr forms of phytochrome enable plants to perceive and react to their light environment, influencing vital processes like germination, flowering, and growth. You can do your homework to know more. But very useful either way. Key is to mimic nature. Nature always knows best.

Won’t work don’t waste ur money. You need at minimum 150 watts of good led lights per 2x2 area 200 to 250 watts per 2x2 area is way better

I have added one to my SF100D light for flower. Run too hot to add more than one, so I rotate my girls each day so all get a turn. The PPFD is negligible, no more than 100/200 micro moles but helps keep the temp up in my tent around 25c as I live in the mountains in Wales U.K and we have more rain than sun here so temps are low. This is my first time using them as a supplement to led lighting and I can find no drawbacks so far.

I haven’t tried them personally but if you could figure out what kind of diodes they are or at least their wattage you can get an idea for the energy they put out. I personally would not grow with just those. I think they can be a good supplement during flower though

I haven’t personally tried those cheap red spectrum LED grow lights from Temu, but I’ve seen a few growers experiment with them as supplemental lighting during flower. The red spectrum can help boost flowering since cannabis responds well to that 660nm range during bloom, but the quality and intensity of those budget LEDs usually aren’t strong enough to be used as the main light source. That said, adding them to a full-spectrum setup might give you a small bump in flower development, especially if your main light is lacking in deep red. Just make sure they don’t throw off heat too close to the canopy or mess with your light cycle timers. If you’re curious, it could be a fun little experiment—but I wouldn’t rely on them alone for heavy yields.
