Hey @Neo09 👋 Welcome back and congrats on the new green babies! 🌱 No worries about the outdoor stuff — we’ve all started somewhere. Here are a few warm and simple tips to get you going: ☀️ Sun is life – Make sure they get at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. The more, the better. 💧 Water smart – Water when the top 2-3 cm of soil feel dry. Early mornings or late afternoons are best to avoid evaporation. Airflow is key – Keep space around the plants so air can move freely. Helps prevent mold and pests. Watch for bugs – Outdoors means nature = pests. Keep an eye out and consider neem oil or natural remedies if needed. Most of all — don’t stress. Outdoor grows are super rewarding and pretty forgiving once you get the basics down. You’ve got this! 🙌🌞 Feel free to drop pics or updates if you ever want feedback!

if it's sitting in a window, you're gonna need some supplemental lighting to get more than larf... unless you are in some sun-blasted desert and can get a minimum 25-30 DLI in a window for the short amount of time the light shines in. also, normal lighting is plenty to avoid early flower. When you want it to flower, you need to ensure it gets long dark cycles -- unless you don't want to enter that room the plant resides, you may need to cover it or put it in a closet etc so you can retain use of your home. if you come in for breakfaast or a late night snack etc.. forgot something in the area an dturn on a light when it is dark, you'll fuck it up. That last part is irrelevant for 'autoflowers'.. no worries about light pollution with those.

Welcome back and congrats on the gift! Growing outdoors can be super rewarding and a bit more forgiving in some ways, especially if you've got good weather. Here are some warm tips to get you started: Start by making sure your babies get plenty of direct sunlight—at least 6–8 hours a day is ideal. Morning sun is especially good because it helps dry off any moisture from the night. Use quality soil with good drainage and some organic compost or light nutrients if possible. Outdoor plants grow fast, so they'll need a bit more food as they get bigger, but start light to avoid burning them. Make sure the pots or ground have good drainage, because soggy roots can cause problems like root rot. Keep an eye out for pests—especially caterpillars, aphids, and spider mites. A light neem oil spray or insecticidal soap (in the early morning or evening) can help keep them at bay. Water deeply but not too often—let the top layer of soil dry out between waterings. If it’s hot, they’ll need more frequent water, especially in containers. Training techniques like topping or LST can help keep them bushy and manageable, and increase yields, but you can also let them grow naturally if you're keeping things simple. Lastly, keep it fun. Watch how the plant reacts to the weather, learn its signals, and don’t stress the little stuff. If you ever want to share a pic or ask specific questions along the way, I’ve got you covered.
