Topping depends on your goal, grow space, and plant health, but with Orange Punch (like Barney's Farm's Orange Sherbet or Mimosa x Orange Punch hybrids), topping is usually a good idea because they tend to grow bushy with strong side branching. If your plant is in the veg stage and has at least 4–6 healthy nodes, you can top it. Cutting the top just above the 3rd or 4th node encourages more horizontal growth, increases light penetration, and produces multiple main colas instead of just one.
Go ahead and top if:
You're still in veg (ideally week 3–5)
The plant looks healthy, with no signs of stress
You want a bushier, more even canopy
Just make sure to give it a few days to recover afterward, and consider adding light LST (low-stress training) to open it up even more.
