Harvesting Purplematic CBD

I’m growing Zamnesia Purplematic CBD for the first time. It seems that my trichomes look purple or are they still transparant? I’m waiting for white and amber. How do I know when to harvest?

Trichomes do not develop the same on all cultivars, so I don't judge by this alone. Try to read all the signs of maturing. I'd say that this cute little thing needs few days more to achieve the desired goal - milky to amber. But yet again, keep in mind that this pheno might never develop really amber trichs, also because of the bud to leaf ratio. Seems to me like a slower pacing pheno so one week more at least is something I'd try.

Yes they are purple the anthocyanins go into the trichomes. Makes it a bit harder to tell when they are ready so best to use other options like growth rate and pistil dryback for indactors of harvest.

Still got plenty of time in my opinion. Don’t only look at trichomes in your case. Consider a mix of trichomes, and enough foxtails. Guess in your case it’s the best. If you got still some bad feelings you can also consider the timeframe RQS considers for flowering. Hope that helped 👊

yo bruh them aint purple trichs that’s the damn plant pigmentation bleedin’ through the sugar leaves 💀 trichs still glassy af — you in the too early to harvest club you waitin on that cloudy milky haze, not some wine-colored fantasy when they start lookin foggy → nearly there add some amber in the mix → chop time don’t trust colors from the leaf base, zoom in on the heads not the stalks don’t let that purple gaslight you lol. peace out ✌️

The leakage of anthocyanins into the trichomes.is nothing to do with the conversion of thc to cbn, same principles apply, 10% ish amber, amber will still be clearly visible and should not be hard to distinguish from purple or clear. I just don't see any amber yet that's all.
