Can anyone advice type of film, to put it from inside on window, to let light in, but hide whats inside for outside viewers ? Friend is struggling with neighbors peaking, he grows few autos in living room, daylight is only light source. Any ideas or products ? Thank You !

If they depend on the light from the window, then you'll reduce dli by putting any sort of film on the glass.. light will be attenuated for sure. if they know the friend grows already, then it really doesn't help at this point, eh? And if it does matter, well there's no solution fitting his need that won't negatively impact the plant, which probably wasn't getting much light to start if it was sitting near a window as its only source. it's gong to be a scraggily small plant either way, i guess? LOL ... wants/needs contradicting reality doesn't turn out well. An upstairs room with a window in appropriate direction?

Hey 👋 Everything that needs to be said has been said… the reflective foil really works. There are also cheaper options to buy at Action, if you have that store near you. Nevertheless, a point of contention: you need to discuss this with your landlord. I had planned it too, even bought it, but had to return it. My landlord didn't want me to install it because it can get hot and even cause cracks in the glass… so play it safe and talk it over if you’re renting. 🖖🍀👊

Bro it‘s pretty easy search for refelcting window tint on amazon or else… I use a UV tint for my DYI Canntrol, it refects pretty good but only if outside is brighter than inside, what won‘t be the case in the evening ;) A friend of mine had tint that looked like aluminium foil, refelcts the light pretty good, keeps heat outside & even at Night you couldn‘t see through… also pretty cheap
