you are scoping too early. the 2nd picture is way too far away, but sure looks like long white pistils, so calyxes aren't even plump, yet. You don't have to bother scoping trichomes until after the buds look properly plump. Otherwise you'll see exactly what you see... trichomes ripen at all times. If you scope the older preflowers you'll probably find amber trichomes before anything else shows it.

Hey growmie, still early, trichomes are mostly clear/cloudy, and the buds haven’t fully swelled yet. Most strains need 8–10 weeks of actual flowering, not just from flip. Give it 2–3 more weeks and keep checking. Patience = more weight + better effects ✌️🔥 PS ask again in a couple of weeks if not sure

plant is not ready yet. Trichomes can ripen and stay milky for a while before they amber up. but overall the plant looks like it need more time. I don't see a lot of brown pistils on it. wait till its about 80% dried pistils. and the milkyness of the trichomes. Plus it will start to drink less.
