HST. but since you have another week or more of vege growth, snap it down lower than you expect -- also figure the top 6" or more will curl upward after HST, too.
This is stressful, but if you do it right, the leaves won't even droop and it'll be healed stronger than before in 2-3 days. You may need to support it initially, but after that you'll have to tie it down to reduce how much it tries to bend back upward.
You can weaken a spot on the stem before bending it down -- this is essential if it's gotten slightly rigid and worried it might snap as opposed to bending. Some damage will occur, but it shouldn't sever the vascular tissue.
First time i ever did it, i did get some leaf droop, but if gently enough, even that is avoidable. Even if it does happen, it'll be fine within 24-48 hours.
