What could this be?

This is supposed to be a moby dick auto. I had it in a tent but it never developed any flowers so I planted it outside. It’s growing nicely but still no buds. There’s no sign of it being a male either ( no sacs) What is this?

If you have an original seed, I guess it is a photoperiodic phenotype that found it's genetic way. If not, I guess the original moby dick auto was pollinated by a photoperiodic cultivar. September will know the truth.

That's a photoperiod and there is some alternate growth up top some flowering is on its way. Be patient but its not an auto

At least it handled transition to sun well. Does look very old for an auto and no initial flowering, so it's probably a photoperiod. I'm not sure of your region, but around here flowering probably won't initiate until end of july / early august, give or take. Check out sunrise/sunset and when days are ~14h or less that's about when it'll start to flower - whether you see it with naked eyes or not. When you see some preflowers (individual calyx at base of any branch) figure it started 5-7 days before that point.. longer if they are large fully developed calyxes. It's a guess, but the best you got outside. This will help you know when things start to flower in your backyard for future reference. good to know how much vege time you have / planning inside starts etc.

its a plant. Maybe they mixed up the seeds?? make some clones and try flipping it in a tent on 12/12. or waiting till the season changes and it goes into bloom naturally should it be photoperiod. I've seen some auto veg out for 8 weeks. its dumb.
