Why do people hate peat pots? I’ve prove. You can grow a good plant in them.
As you can see this window plant(which people hate that I grow in the window too) is amazing and started in a paper pot. Love the peat pots

Hi, ich mag sie auch. Benutze sie in meinem aktuellen Grow auch nur sieht man sie nicht mehr weil ich sie in die Erde gesetzt habe. Sehe hier auf der Seite zum Glück mehr love als hate. Finde die Pflanze sieht echt schön aus. Weiterhin viel Erfolg und Spaß beim growen

Many growers dislike peat pots because they can hold too much moisture, which may lead to mold or root rot in seedlings. Also, if the peat pot doesn't break down properly in the soil, it can restrict root growth. Some people find they dry unevenly and make watering more complicated.
There are also environmental concerns — harvesting peat can damage sensitive ecosystems.
But aren't you actually using a fabric pot? Those dry out really quickly because of the better airflow, which usually means more work keeping up with watering. They have their advantages for sure — like better root aeration — but they can definitely be a bit more demanding day to day. 💦🌻
