Bio Tabs/organic route

HaanfSolostarted grow question 1d ago
Has anyone used the Bio Tab products (startrex, mycrotex, bio tabs, bactrex, startex, silicum). Thinking about switching it up and going more organic with Autopots (indoors). No LST, no topping, no defoliation, no minerals such as plagron, cannas.

minerals are building blocks, lol. Mg is a mineral and it is needed. so is iron.. even a little Cl is useful to the plant as a trace element. May want to rethink the 'no minerals' thing. This is a misperception. Try something new for lots of good reasons, but "natural" or 'non mineral' is irrelevant. "organic" is a marketing term of zero causality. Cyanide is 'natural' lol. Natural does not mean good or safe. that's a bastardization of reality. like learning to ride a bike, new products just take a little tweaking as you react to issues seen. While you may not find examples of all those products, i'm sure you can find diaries using them and that can help you choose how far to deviate from instructions... no defoliation is a good choice to retain regardless of which products you use. for the most part, fertilizer is fertilizer. The readily available stuff typically causes faster growth for obvious reasons. the slow release stuff and the stuff that requires microbes to break it down 'on demand' for the plant takes a bit more trial and error to find a happy equilibrium that supplies a healthy amount of nutes around the roots.

I actually do that, except for the Autopots (that would be one of the next "upgrades") I also run a 12/12 cycle from start with no training, defoliation, topping with the last plants and it works fine for me
