Late topping

My plants are getting too tall for stealth reasons. I’m 3 weeks into flower stage, stretching like crazy in full hot sun. Is there still a risk of hermie-ing my plants if I top again now? I’m not worried about yield. Already LSTed down but stems are strong to go more. Thanks

Don't top now. HST is your best option. Roll the stem between your fingers to crush the inside without damaging the bark and then bend them without snapping. They often pull up as they heal, so you can put small ties keeping the bend angle. If you don't understand, a quick search on youtube will clear it up. There are many videos on it.

Don't top. Supercrop or trellis them down. This is a google defination of it. Supercropping is a high-stress training technique in cannabis cultivation where you intentionally damage a plant's stem to encourage bushier growth and increased yields. By slightly breaking the inner fibers of a stem, while keeping the outer layer intact, you can bend the branch to a new position. This controlled stress encourages the plant to heal and strengthen the damaged area, forming a "knuckle" that provides support for buds during flowering.

Supercrop, dont top, it will ruin like 30% of total weight. Work slowly massaging stem, preplan were to bend this timber and what support to give. Do it sliwly, before watering. All should be fine.

Stress is Stress, it's a cumulative thing across all forms of stress. So long as she is not suffering from 4 or 5 other stressors at same time as the chop should be ok. It's when she has Stress from all angles it will overwhelm her. Obviously not ideal but if you are not concerned about yield. Personally I'd just do as shin recommended and bend her hard n tie her down.
