Doesn't hurt to put it up early... better to put it up at the height you want before the plant exceeds that intended height. So, if you need to conserve as much vertical space as possible, make sure you set the first scrog at a height that still allows you to do basic things -- like irrigate. Then, as the plant approaches, slow tuck and train as necessary to reach your end goal for canopy. It's wise to work backward from how many vertical colas you want to fill the space by the end of flower. This way you avoid over-crowding as well as waste time growing unnecessary plant mass that will only be pruned off etc... You don't need to exceed 3-4 colas per sq ft.. that will not improve yield. it'll just cause smaller, more-distrubted bud mass. The net doesn't block large portions of light, so no worries if you set it up slightly early... much more difficult to drop it down on a plant that has already exceeded the height you want to set the first net. Risk physical damage stripping off a leaf or a branch that is now slightly rigid and might snap as they age naturally. scrogs are awesome.. refine your path and reduce wasted growth/resources. This shortens vege time and saves you effort/hassle.

LST is a bump method for the correct filling of the spaces by a bush. When I make LST, I do it more to adjust the shape of the plant. I recommend after each LS to give the plant 2-3-4 days of rest, until it again lifts its branches and they will grow slightly. I see something bad with soil and pH, on the ground I boldly do it at 7 - 8 pH, but not 5.5-6. Correctly prepare the soil, do not pour the plants at the initial stage, do not make LST more than 1 time per week. LST is just a hem without using a network. The network is used for shit. In order to be possible for you to tell you = you need to understand why you are LST? Why do you need a scruff? This is more for experienced users - this still needs to be learned. Do not rush to remove huge crops = try to make them high -quality. The race for the best training in the form of LST, scroll and other things = the newcomer mainly causes confusion and the crops leave much to be desired. Not everyone, of course. Bo recommended you more to describe your equipment to obtain a more detailed response. Successful heavae, while everything goes well.

Why bother with an auto?? Especially a topped one..........it is not going to grow uncontrollably. 18/6 is optimal.........you are stressing your plant with 22/2.

guess i should have mentioned depends a bit on how you are using it... if just for support, definitely wait longer ... still want to put it on before you have to fit it over numerous branches that are tallern than the scrog level. you said you ahve 2 so i am assuming one is for training at a lower level and 1 is for support after you let it grow vertically... that's not the only way to use them, of course. i use 2 -- one to train horizontally and conserve vertical space, then 2nd scrog is 2/3rds the way up the finished branch size for support just in case i run into some floppy phenos. I expect up to 3' of growth above my first scrog. My 2nd is roughly 2' above the first... but i'll adjust that if the plants look to be less stretchy... nothing is set in stone and everything is dictated by the reality of the plant in front of you.
