Bottom feed phd 6.5 water only with occasional water from top to prevent buildup. Super soil. Roots grew heavily into res so lots of roots sitting in only phd water. I think this is making them hungry and cant get enough from soil. Want to stay organic. How would u fix? Flower w4

Roots does not mean they are hungry just means its growing out and its happy. Roots tend to be relative to the size of the plant. they will air prune if left out long enough and get a bit dry. The main downside to this, if the water is stagnate it can cause root rot and bigger issues. If your plants are looking healthy and not showing any sings of deficiencies or toxicities then you're in the clear. Just let it go as is and adjust as needed.
