One more thing, I strive to be able to see through the plant and not just see a wall of leaves. I missed the mark on my current grow so I will shoot for that at week 3 of flower. Check out my diaries to get an idea if you like to see what I mean

I do it for airflow and light penetration but only one picture gives me no clue on those conditions. Defoliation is an art and I play on the side of caution. Big growers do a heavy defoliation just before flower and another heavy the end of 3rd week of flower but they know what their doing. Just give her time to recover, don't pick a leaf here and there everyday. I always end up doing a week before flower and 3rd week of flower but usually end up taking several leaves in 2nd week and even 5th or 6th week. Be careful because growth stops in the fan leaves at a point. Don't let people scare you away from defoliation. It's needed for airflow and lower bud growth

You should have a specific reason to remove leaves, not whimsically doing it as part of some mindless procedure. Leaves are incredible important anatomy for several reasons. Keep as many as you can. Defoliating just to defoliate is overtly a bad idea at any time in the plant's life cycle.

u can defoliate 2 weeks before harvest after 1st signs of starvation (that'd mean the plant eating itself ) this'll add some stress for production of THC and clear the salts

I would not remove any more leaves unless they were dead or dying at this point.

Absolutely not! Outdoor plants, in my long experience, do not need any defoliation ever. P.S. - I know it is only a short video, but flowering plants do not like any sort of bright lights during the night period.
