Can I add a 60x60x180 SF1000 together with a non-dimmable SF1000D?

I’ve got a 60×60×180 box with 2 plants (one in 3rd week of flower, one near 4th veg). Running SF1000D at 35-40 cm gives 28-29 °C/60% RH. I already bought another dimmable SF1000 and plan to run 50-70%. Can my 130 m³/h exhaust + oscillating fan handle the extra heat?

An extraction upgrade would be ideal really but there are ways of venting your tent and lowering temps. Locate your oscillating fan above your lights blowing on the drivers will help somewhat, and adding another fan positioned at an air vent within your tent blowing outwards will aid extraction. Change light cycle to be on during night and off during daytime can help too. I have resorted to leaving tent door open during lights on when all else fails. Adding the extra light will boost quality and yield but will bring its own challenges. VPD is your friend if you do a little research, you will find high temps can be offset by RH to allow your girls to transpire adequately if not optimally. https://vpd.aroya.io/ is a live site that allows you enter temp and RH values which will tell you how your plants are managing your environment. For taking leaf temp use a temp gun if possible. Typically leaf temps are around 2 - 3 degrees lower than ambient temp. If your values put you in the dark green band, you are in the sweet spot for both of your plants (early flower/late veg). For instance, at 28.5 C and 60% Rh with a leaf temp of 25 ish would put you where you need to be. If temps run a little higher after adding new light raise humidity a little to keep your VPD in good ranges. Perhaps it would be best to finish this grow under one light and before you begin another grow add your new light and see how your environment changes. I found that adding a light half way through a grow was more problematic than seeding and growing under 2 lights as the plants acclimatize as soon as they pop above ground. It is a challenge but will only add to your skills as a grower for the future. Good luck dude and if ya get stuck I'm happy to help.

Still the same answer as 2-3 days ago. they should be evenly spaced and running at same power. You are already near the upper end of where you want temperatures, so this will only make it warmer. Is your exhaust running at 100%? Is it exhausting into lung room? If so, cranking it up isn't going to do much for the temperature. You needed about 50% more light than just 1 sf1000 for the size of your tent, so either need to use AC or exhaust outside the room -- assuming ambient temperatures are low enough to counter-balance the heat production. your question is a matter of context... you should know whether you need an AC just by thinking about it for a second. If ambient temp around the tent isn't conducive, you need an AC and there's not wishing or wanting to avoid it. - using bigger room would be a minor help - run lights at night instead of deay might save a degree or 3. otherwise, AC is the only way to cool the air.

probably. I'd worry more above how much light your giving them and if its overkill or a waste of money on hydro use. Look up DLI and famileraize yourself with it.
