N-deficiency == paling tip-in on leave and bottom up on plant ... one of the more discrete leaf symptoms.
You might also have something else going on. First picture shows some damage along the vein and some rust spots -- that is not n-deficiency. The spots might be Ca deficiency, but the damage eminating from veins tends to be related to root zone issues. Maybe, ph-test the runoff to ensure it's not drastically off... runoff pH is not the most representatitve of what exists in the pot, so be forgiving.
if not following basic procedure, adjust:
1-fully saturate
2-wait for appropriate dryback and repeat.
do not choose the volume. you give what it takes to accomplish step 1. if you wait for same dryback (or loss of weight),then you'll be able to predict the volume required retroactively. proper watering should never cause a problem.. .if it does it's the fault of the medium constitution.
