It’s very likely the problem comes from an incorrect watering routine. You’re giving too little water, too often, and too quickly.
Lift the pot every day; when it feels light, water with about one-third to one-fifth of the pot’s volume. Then wait again until it feels light before watering next. Following a fixed schedule (like every few days) doesn’t work well.
You’re watering too fast if a puddle forms on the surface or water drains from the bottom. If that happens, stop for a few minutes, then continue watering slowly.
Lastly, please share more details about the fertilizer and soil you’re using.
It’s unlikely to be too much light, as the plants would show clear signs of light stress on top. This is probably an issue related to watering or nutrients.
