Hi, I have to extend veg until ~Dec 31 because of vacation. Should I worry about the plants outgrowing the tent? Plan is to keep training a flat canopy and top anything above it once the tent is horizontally full (maybe in 3 weeks). Good plan / tips? 23C RH~65% org.soil. 15Lpot

Forgot to say.. may need to prune roots with that amount of time too... you'll know dec 31... if roots are strangling it or not. but another 8-10 weeks of flower on top of that is also a concern.

Just prune it back as needed.... Just make sure enough growth tips exist to grow out into the canopy you want. I used to prune back mother plants often. I'd trim each branch back to 1 growth tip -- you probably don't want to be that extreme but something similar will be effective... Cut it to size or cut it back now and let it regrow in time for december. if gone between now and then, probably want to cut it back, now as opposed to anything that needs more maintenance or risks an overgrown tent. don't overcrowd your canopy... if you top and it's too many mouths, take off some growth tips to thin it out.

You should be fine extending veg until the end of December. Your plants still have plenty of vertical space, and as long as you keep training a flat canopy you can easily control the height. Topping anything that rises above canopy level is a good plan. Just keep the branches spread wide and fill the tent horizontally before flipping. The structure looks healthy and compact, so you’re in a good position for a long veg. If you feel they’re getting too bushy, you can remove some lower growth or light defoliation to help airflow. At 23°C and ~65% RH in organic soil, they look happy. Keep training and you won’t run out of space
