think a major thing most don't realize -- if the reservoir is in the tent, it's going to get warm. warm water grows all sorts of shit quickly. Get something similar to the Jacks 321 setup and it'll be easy sailing assuming you don't have an algea bloom and root rot, lol. These setups all look similar. A "Base" part then calcium nitrate and epsom salt. Avoid the brands that puts the micros (boron et al) in the 2nd two parts... calcium nitrate and epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) are very cheap things to buy and you don't need to buy branded versions of them. Definitely don't pay "jacks" proces for magnesium sulfate, lol. But, the greedy fucks that put the micros in the calcium nitrate basically force you to buy their product or you also have to buy some "micros" supplement. Jacks used to do this too, but nowadays it's in the Part A where it belongs. it's probably the best out-of-the-box instucted ratio and concentration with the least amount of adjustments needed for local variables. All will require adjustments, the better options out there should require minimal adjustments from instructions. One less battle to fight. One less learning curve to traverse - or minimized to the point a 4-year-old could handle it.
