are you getting some runoff? hempy should have a hole near the bottom and you need some runoff to avoid buildup and imbalances forming in nutrient solution / medium.
plants don't take in allnutrients equally. So, over time just the plant selectively grabbing shit cna change the ph and overall nutrient balance, which is also a major issue at some point down the line.
Also, better 'hydro' fertilizers will be ph-buffered and more resistent to such things... if you deduce it's not a matter of behaviour causing what you see. Sounds like your products just don't hold pH well if it rises to 7.2 in 1 day after dropping to 6.2. This is far too much variability to ignore. A little ebb and flow is fine. 6.0-6.3 is probably not a concern, for example.
So, not enough info. Possibly just some marijuana-branded product that didn't hire a chemist or follow existing industry practices to help formulate their poorly engineered product.
I'm assuming the medium is 'inert' - not full of nutrition amendments? Since it is a hempy bucket... If you deviated from 'norms' or tried to mix and match different methods, that would be a consideration too.
gimmicks... just do it a more orthodox way and you'll probably have fewer problems, imo. There's virtually no difference from a hempy and a simple soilless grow. heck, if you get your plant size and pot size right, multiple fertigations per day will match growth potential of hydro systems. And even if not, talking about a couple days shaved off vege phase by comparison. Can't circumvent limiting factors of light and co2... 50-70g/sq ft is all you can get with ambient co2 no matter what method you use. More than one method can achieve that ceiling.
