It won't be a "cloned" version of its parents.
It will be a regular seed with a 50-50 chance of being either male or female.............however, selfed seeds also carry a higher risk of being hermaphrodites too.
You can grow it as an experiment, but don't bank on it as being your main focus...........there are lots of risks involved.
If the pollen came randomly from outside, the genetic re-combination will give you a plant of any random mix.
If the pollen came from another plant in your tent, different to the mother plant, again the genetics could be quite varied and with the risk of hermaphroditism.
Self pollinated seeds also carry the risk of genetic "throwbacks" where previously non-dominant genes become dominant genes and once again, this can lead to all sorts of "new" traits being expressed.
All in all, I personally would no put any faith in the idea that you willl be preserving a desired phenotype, rather, you will be conducting an experiment.
There is also a slight chance you might get exactly what you are hoping for...........but it is a gamble!
