Does anyone know why photos are not uploaded to the diary in full quality and resolution? What is the best resolution setting for uploading photos? I can't find the optimal settings anywhere...

storage limits/cost... also, probably optimized for phone use, and with tiny screens human eyes can't tell a difference as easily as on a tv-sized screen. there's a finite number of resolution settings, so if there is a better setting for GD, you can find it with trial and error with a handful of photos uploaded.

Sorry I can't help you with this. Iv been on this site a while and can't figure out why the resolution is shit compared to what I try and upload.
