Crfhondastarted grow question 3h How many grams/Oz to use per cup of oil? I’m looking at making some infused oil to make a bunch of gummies over the winter months. I’ve been using about 1 Oz per 4 cups of oil, but I would like the oil to be stronger. I use MCT oil

what 001 said, no reliable ref chart but you can visually discern when the oil will no longer take any it is close to 1 to 1 volumetrically in my experience, basically to the point that it doesnt really matter how much you need in there...unless youre filling your own caps. worst case scenario you do have to dig into some isolate but rosin at a 1:1 ratio with oil should be straight overkill for anyone basically, work backwards from your intended mg amount per dose accounting for loss at appropriate stages, because the limit for dissolving it in oil is well past anything even online shops are selling

There's no reliable reference for carrying capacity of various oils and the things you want to dissolve into it. Just add more. just consider serving size of wahtever you are making with it or simply sub liminal application etc... do the math.. how much weed was it? if you put an ounc in and use 1/8 of the oil it's about a 1/8th worth of the weed you added. when eating you probably want 2x as much as you'd smoke in a sitting per serving / use. if you add 40g of weed and want 2g/serving, then you use 1/20th of the oil at a time. Can work backward from the intended serving size too. Apply those math skills, lol. a little trial and error will get it where you want it.
