All soils contain different amounts of nutrients, so it's a matter of when it runs out for that particular soil.
e.g. fox farm ocean forest might be good for 6-8 weeks or more without fertilizer. If you add any non-nutritional volume, like perlite, then it will run low sooner.
So, if not familiar and can't find a equivalent in a diary on GD using same soil, be patient. Wait to see a hint of deficiency or slightly lighter color green in the plant before you start. When you start, go with 1/4 to 1/2 strength from instructions of your fertilizer brand and see how it goes before amping up more. Things don't happen immediately with regard to fertilizer... it's a culmination of everything that's been fed up to that point and beyond.
Expect differences from others... and even in the plants directly in front of you.
