if the white pistiles are from newer growth calyxes, i'd more heavily weigh the ripeness of the bulk of growth. do you want 80% of the plant to be less than ideal for 20% of the plant to catch up? (rhetorical and making up random numbers just as proof of concept).... Depends a lot on your assessment of the situation... i wouldn't sacrifice the bulk for a small portion of total. for some people, yield may be of ultimate importance, andin that case you may want to wait for it all to ripen, but thne you have some portions of plant that are quite a bit different that other portions of the plant etc... So, this depends on your personal preferences to some extent and your greater understanding of the details. I'd also give a gently inspection under the buds anywhere a sugar leaf has died at an unusual rate.. .can sometimes hint of an infection underneath. No fuzz on stem = no problem.

Trust the trichomes not the pistils. A plant will basically forever keep producing new pistils and sometimes the trichomes will mature faster than the pistils and vice versa. Each plant is different but trust the trichomes. Trichomes equal effects

Don't focus on just one thing like pistils. Look at the entire plant. Trichomes, leaves, age, suppliers estimated flowering time, and use the holistic view to decide. Get rid of the dead plant material from the grow area. Its an invitation for some nasty plant problems.

I would give her another 7-10 days........wait until there are 98-99% brown pistils. Reducing your lighting by an hour (photoperiod plant) or two hours (auto plant) can get them to stop throwing out new pistils and get them to finish more decisively.

That plant is still giving you some more. Harvest when more than the 3/4 of the hairs turned orange/brown.

Nice work! Chop when ready, you patience is just starting to be tested! Dry and cure processes are even more subjective. Hang in there.

Hey man! Looking great! those buds are stacking up nice. From your pics the trichs look mostly cloudy, so you’re definitely in the window. If you want a bit more “100% sure” ripeness and a slightly heavier finish, I’d personally wait until you see around 20–30% amber trichomes. And don’t stress about the white pistils... some genetics keep throwing fresh hairs late, and even small things like strong light/heat or mild stress can keep them coming. Trichs on the buds tell the real story. 🔝🍀
