Yes, questions are ok to translate, but can't translate responses....very annoying.

depends on what you try to translate. e.g. grow questions translate fine, but the answers to grow questions do not translate. So, if it just sits there doing nothing, probably isn't functioning in that part of the site. Some spots still work, though. The IT staff here is most definitely self-taught, lol. A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing.
