Meh, don't need all that home app stuff... And, usually only one runs at a time. Should be obvious which needs to be turned on.. Could potentially have slightly more control with the home app, rh probe and smart outlet. humidifier set to conintuous and powers on based on probe reading of your choice and powers off when you choose too... not limited to how the unit works in that regard. This could be dangerous with the wrong dehumidifier, though. There are safety features for the compressor - as long as the defrost mode remains on even if power is turned off or on would be important. With some units, this may reset after a power cycle and you risk damaging the compressor if it inadvertently skips a necessary defrost cycle.

What's he on About.. Underneath πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡. Problem finder there. The sockets are on the outside of the tent. Of tape over the lights or put your hands over your plants eyes..

What people are forgetting is that often these devices have lights on them, so useless in scotoperiod.

Most dehumidifiers/humidifiers have a built in humidity sensor. Simply set it to a given value and it will work to keep the humidity at a certain spot. More important is the capability of dehumidifier than fancy controllers. If you are dehumidifying the lung room you will need some serious power on it to keep the moisture of the air going inside of the tent at bay. I would not use a dehumidifier inside of the tent as it tends to create a microclimate.

No you don't need to be branded the same.. A smart plug extention, a temp RH sensor and a free smart home app. Can control more than a controller. Inbox me if you need more info
