Hi all, opinions welcome please. Green Crack auto fastbuds at 94 days from seed. She hasn't fattened up at all. I'm unsure whether to leave her for another week or so or chop down

Hey Buddy šŸ™‚ Thanks for sharing the photos, and honestly, well done for bringing her this far. Getting an auto to 94 days and still healthy is already an achievement. At this stage, you’re right: this isn’t really a right or wrong moment anymore, it’s more about preference and intention. When we look at harvest timing, we’re mostly talking about how the cannabinoids and terpenes express themselves over time: • Earlier harvest (more clear / early cloudy trichomes): Brighter, lighter, more energetic effect. Often more ā€œheadyā€, sometimes a bit racier. Some people really enjoy this for daytime use. • Mid harvest (mostly cloudy, just a touch of amber): This is the ā€œsweet spotā€ for many growers. Strong potency, fuller flavor, and a more balanced effect — body and mind working together. • Later harvest (more amber coming in): THC slowly degrades into CBN, which tends to bring a heavier, more relaxing, sometimes sedative effect. Less sharp, more calm. Great for evening or sleep for some people. In terms of ā€œfattening upā€, autos don’t always swell the way photos do, especially late in life. Sometimes what you see now is simply her final expression, and that’s okay. Not every plant follows the textbook. If your instinct says she’s ready, you’re probably not wrong. If your curiosity says let her ride another week and see, that’s valid too. Personally, I like harvesting when most trichomes are cloudy, with just a hint of amber starting, but that’s just taste, not a rule. The best harvest is the one that matches what you enjoy. Trust your eyes, trust your nose, trust your gut. She’s already giving you something good either way 🌿 Growers Love my friend and keep us posted šŸ™Œ

At 94 days from seed, I’d definitely harvest. If the buds haven’t fattened by now and you’re seeing around 50% amber trichomes, she’s already past peak maturity. Autos usually don’t suddenly bulk up that late — they just get more amber and lose terpenes. Chopping now will give you: A heavier, more relaxing effect Better flavor than waiting longer Less risk of degradation Sometimes autos just don’t stack the way we expect, even when everything else is right. In this case, waiting longer won’t fix that. I’d harvest with confidence šŸŒ±āœ‚ļø
