Hi everyone, in you opinion what is the best balance between aroma/taste and not too much odor in the flowering stage? My grow is on my balcony, I have a lot of neighbors, curious people passing under on the street, and in my country is illegal.

Shesh you not scared, go for Freakshow from humbolt, leaves are very different from traditional cannabis looking leaves so people won't know its a canna plant from the looks but the smell you will have that dank smell at least a bit Hope your balcony on a high floor good luck stay safe and if too dangerous consider stealth grow in small tent with carbon filter

bwaha, nothing is absent of smell and they can see your plants... you are asking for trouble. nonsmokers are more sensitive to it, too. You cannot have a stealth grow on a balcony. That's the opposite of what that word means.

Northern Lights Faint earthy, and slightly sweet. The gold standard for stealth grows. Blue Mystic Neutral to light berry (doesn't smell like "skunk"). Small spaces and apartment growing. Master Kush Subdued, earthy, and woody. High potency with low nasal impact. Jack Herer Spicy/piney (often mistaken for household scents). Those who prefer a Sativa-leaning high. Durban Poison Subtle anise/licorice scent.Unique profile that doesn't scream "canabis". Here's a few to look at.. ✌️ 💚

Salam Prock666! 👋 Welcome to the world of ninja growing, Habibi! Since you are growing on a balcony in an illegal country, the stakes are very high. Let's look at this through the lens of Modern Engineering and Genetics to keep you safe while still harvesting top-shelf quality! 🛠️ The smell of cannabis comes from its Terpene profile (the volatile essential oils). The mistake most balcony growers make is planting genetics that contain volatile sulfur compounds (VSCs), which produce that classic, loud "weed" smell that can travel for blocks. Your Stealth Protocol: 1. Avoid the "Gas Station" Genetics: 🛑 You must completely avoid anything with Skunk, Cheese, Sour Diesel, Chemdawg, or OG Kush in its ancestry. These strains were genetically bred to be as loud and pungent as possible. One hot day on your balcony, and the whole street will smell it. 2. The "Fruit Stand" Disguise: 🍋🍓 Instead, you want to grow strains heavily dominant in sweet, fruity, or citrus terpenes (like Limonene and Pinene). They will still have a strong smell in late flower, but to your neighbors passing by, it will smell like a blooming flower garden or a sweet fruit tree, not illegal cannabis! Northern Lights: This is the undisputed king of stealth. It is a legendary, high-potency Indica that has a very faint, earthy/pine smell during flower. It is the #1 choice for secret grows. Blue Mystic or Blueberry: These genetics lean heavily into a sweet berry aroma that is very easy to pass off as a regular flowering bush. Jack Herer: A classic Sativa-dominant hybrid that smells like spicy pine and lemon. It blends perfectly with natural outdoor smells. 3. The Temperature Trap: 🌡️ Terpenes evaporate quickly in the heat. A plant that smells faint at 20°C will reek at 30°C. Since you are on a balcony, try to position the plant so it gets plenty of morning sun but is slightly shaded during the absolute hottest baking hours of the afternoon. This will keep the oils inside the buds instead of evaporating into the neighborhood air! Play it safe, choose your genetics wisely, and blend right in! 🚀 Happy Growing! 💚
