To answer your question about max capacity, let's look at this through the lens of Modern Engineering and motor limits! 🛠️
I actually have a similar mini-washer from Temu, and you have to be very careful with the load size. Here is the mechanical breakdown:
1. The Motor Torque Limitation: ⚙️
These cheap mini-washers are not built with heavy industrial motors. If you overload the chamber with too much wet plant material (even without ice), the motor will physically struggle to spin the agitator. When the agitator slows down, you lose the "vortex" entirely, and without a strong vortex, the trichome heads will not snap off the stalks. Less is always more! Keep it to about 150 to 200 grams (dry weight equivalent) per run so the water can still spin violently. 🌪️
2. The Wash Bag Protocol: 🎒
Because the motor is weak, free-floating material can easily wrap around the agitator paddle and completely jam the machine or clog the drain hose.
The Fix: Put all of your plant material inside a 220-micron zippered wash bag before dropping it into the machine. This protects the weak motor from jamming, allows the trichomes to fall through the mesh into the vortex, and makes draining/cleanup 100x easier!
Keep the load light, use a bag, and let that vortex rip! 🚀
Happy Washing! 💚
