How much can you fit into a miniwasher for bubble hash without impeding vortex or draining? Cold AF outside, so no volume needed for ice.

100.001100010010011110g No more no less. Otherwise you'll fuck up the whole process.

Salam 00110001001001111O! 👋 Welcome to the hash lab, Habibi! To answer your question about max capacity, let's look at this through the lens of Modern Engineering and motor limits! 🛠️ I actually have a similar mini-washer from Temu, and you have to be very careful with the load size. Here is the mechanical breakdown: 1. The Motor Torque Limitation: ⚙️ These cheap mini-washers are not built with heavy industrial motors. If you overload the chamber with too much wet plant material (even without ice), the motor will physically struggle to spin the agitator. When the agitator slows down, you lose the "vortex" entirely, and without a strong vortex, the trichome heads will not snap off the stalks. Less is always more! Keep it to about 150 to 200 grams (dry weight equivalent) per run so the water can still spin violently. 🌪️ 2. The Wash Bag Protocol: 🎒 Because the motor is weak, free-floating material can easily wrap around the agitator paddle and completely jam the machine or clog the drain hose. The Fix: Put all of your plant material inside a 220-micron zippered wash bag before dropping it into the machine. This protects the weak motor from jamming, allows the trichomes to fall through the mesh into the vortex, and makes draining/cleanup 100x easier! Keep the load light, use a bag, and let that vortex rip! 🚀 Happy Washing! 💚

Btw i did my last run in -15 , bubble hash bags froze between runs, cold to work outdoors, would never repeat it ... Tried snow instead of ice - would never repeat it too ;)))

Max 1/3 of all amount when you add ice, material and water. I bought finally, but i did it while stoned , went for a bit bigger one for fitting more material. Ended up with 50 liters one, needed to make upgrades in chamber, some sealing and removal of bits. Now i am very happy. Friend has 12 liters, he is happy too. Why i did it after 6 years of delay and manual work, i dont know ;)))) Think about riffled out-pipe change you know already ;)))

i feel crammed doing proper in a 5 gal, would feel right running like a key through 55 gallon bin with bag separation and water motion and ice and soaker plates

I have to agree with @JUNGLE_B4RNS mate.. Ditch the machine and use bubble bags, if your doing loads maybe dry ice is the way to go

Ice is better solvent than just cold water, you will get better results with ice (you can put your trimming for 24h in the freezer before to get even more better results). This machine is a gadget …. Some friends have used it and finally got back to a set of bubble bags in a bucket …
