Stressing regular seeds

If I have regs and I stress them during veg, is the likelihood of them becoming males increase? Or is there no change. I got these badass seeds but recently moved and my life is upside down. Please advise 🙏

Depending on what you are trying to achieve, stress can be good. If you are pheno hunting for best male and female then stress is advisable. This way you can test the phenos under stressful conditions to discard the weak ones But if it's not a breeding project or phenohunt then you should avoid stress as it won't affect the plants gender unless you stress it enough to herm

No, it does not work like that............at least not reliably or predictably in my experience. My best males have come seedlings that were given all the love in the world and the best growing conditions. Genetics is pretty much the over-riding factor................stress can cause weird things and breeding with weird things is not ideal. Just grow 5-7 seedlings and you will get at least one or two pure males from your regular seeds to breed with.

Of course best result is to have the least amount of stress as possible. Sometimes it’s unavoidable and depending on what type of stress you’re talking about makes a big difference as well. Many types of stress will cause plants to Herm. If one plant turns and it’s not caught and removed quickly it can affect the entire grow. Give a better description on the type of stress and duration your talking about.

xx is xx. you'll have a 50% chance and like the other guy said, stress can cause hermies, but as long as you have them healthy and happy heading into flower, it's not much of a concern.

DA STRESS DOES NOT TECHNICALLY CHANGE A GENETICALLY FEMALE PLANT INTO A MALE OR VICE VERSA IN A PERMANENT CHROMOSOMAL SENSE, BUT IT CAN SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASE THE PROBABILITY OF A PLANT EXPRESSING MALE REPRODUCTIVE ORGANS OR BECOMING A HERMAPHRODITE!!!! DA GOOD THING ABOUT DA STRESS IS DAT DA FEMALES DAT YOU GET WILL HAVE BEEN STRESS TESTED BY DA STRESSES!!!! DIS WILL ONLY BE FOR DA VEG STAGE!!!! YOU WOULD HAVE TO CONTINUE DA STRESSES ALL DA WAY TO HARVEST TO SEE HOW DAT CULTIVAR REACTS!!!! DIS WILL SHOW YOU IF YOU TRULY HAVE BADASS GENETICS!!!!
