From the picture, itâs clearly in the late stage of flowering.
The faded leaves, the colors, and the overall structure all point to a plant that is already close to the end of its life cycle.
About your main concern with the trichomes
Yes, itâs true not every strain develops a lot of amber trichomes. Some genetics tend to stay mostly milky with only a small percentage turning amber, especially certain autos.
In your case, if the trichomes are mostly cloudy and only a few are still clear, youâre already in the harvest window. You donât need to wait for a heavy amber percentage.
The drying and dying leaves youâre seeing are also pretty typical this late in flower. The plant is basically using up its remaining energy.
One important thing though
Make sure youâre checking trichomes on the buds (calyxes), not on the sugar leaves. Sugar leaves turn amber earlier and can give a false impression.
If I had to judge from what I see
Youâre either ready now or very close, maybe a few days at most depending on your preference.
Make sure you have good air circulation and proper humidity. Dense buds combined with poor airflow can quickly lead to bud rot, especially towards the end.
So no panic
Your plant doesnât look stuck, it looks finished or nearly finished.
Happy Harvest and Enjoy đ
