How to enter a contest new to this site

Hello GrowHero, I just finished my grow and I had the same problem I could also not join any contest. But when I did post more information on the weeks from my diary then my diary got a smiley face and when you diary got a smiley face then you can join contests like picture of the month. Before you post a week you can see a few boxes with teks and a color it says something like pictures, update comment, grow information. When they are green then you get a smiley face. You can also edit the weeks that you've got already and just add some information and you will get a smiley face and you will be able to join the contests! Goodluck and have a nice grow! 💚

But looking at your profile through the lens of Site Engineering, there is a quick adjustment you need to make first! 🛠️ Keep doing the good work, but I checked your diaries and noticed they don't have the little smiley faces next to the name yet. That smiley face is the site's way of showing your diary is "healthy" and complete, which is a strict requirement to enter most contests! The Fix: You just need to add more text descriptions and take a few more photos for each of your weekly updates. Once you feed the system enough data, that smiley face will pop up, and you will be ready to compete for those prizes! Keep it up, you're off to a great start! 🚀 Happy Growing! 💚

Hey. For the contests, you need to go to the grow diary menu and contests. There are several types of contests. There are the monthly contests, the same one created every month. There's the grower contest, which helps the community with questions. Then there's the most beautiful photo of the month contest. And the best diary of the month contest. After that, there are sponsored contests or cups. Those have specific rules. Now there's the Eternity Cup, which has already started, and the Izi one too. But since they've already started, you won't be able to participate in those. Most of them already require a filled diary. I hope I could help you. Just read the requirements needed for the contest and join by selecting a diary fitting the requirements to participate.

Just create a diary for each seed and note everything as detailed as possible. That will help you participate in contests, you might even become the best diary of the month. Good luck 🤞

if you have diaries meeting requirements, and sometimes not, you can click the "join now" button and select the diary or picutre etc from a list. Should be pretty straight-forward. you'll have to read those 4-5 lines of text on the individual contest pages. requirements per contest can vary. I know that's tough for the younger crowd, Bwahaha. Some may allow you to join while not qualifying, so in those cases just know you don't have much of a chance to win. At least half the time you'll only be able to see diaries after clicking/tapping "join now" that do qualify.
