Sex reversal check: Male or Female?

Is this male? The structure looks different from a typical female flower, but I might be seeing pistils. Did my sex reversal attempt fail? This photo was taken 13 days after starting the STS spray.

You should have more developed preflowers at each node in the branches befoer you see sex at terminal or normal budsites. They'd be more developed and easier to distinguish. If you made me guess based on that picture, i'd lean male. Looks like the envelop is segmented and no stigmata (hair). Usually see little tufts of white by thet point. if the proflowers aren't developed, can pull one off (they are isolated so you won't damage anything important). Slice it open with a razor and use a magnifying glass to look inside.. either 2 neatly packed stigmata or a row of nanners will be inside. But, at this point your preflowers should be very easy to distinguish. No need to struggle with the terminal buds.
