Wassup Garys_Mod_Green! Those buds are looking beautifully frosty and have that nice late-season fade going on. While they look great, I'd say you're looking at at least one more week, maybe even two. If you look closely, you still have quite a few white "stigmata" (those little hairs) sticking straight out. You usually want to wait until the majority of those have shriveled up and turned orange/brown. The real secret is in the trichomes (the "frost"). You want them to be mostly cloudy with a splash of amber for that peak potency. If you harvest now, you might miss out on that final "swell" where the buds really put on their last bit of weight. Keep an eye on them daily, but patience right now will definitely pay off in the jar! Happy Growing, Growmie!

From the pictures, I’d say you’re very close but not quite there yet. Yes, you’re getting nice frost, but that alone isn’t the best indicator. What matters most are the trichomes and the overall maturity of the buds. From what I can see, there are still quite a few white pistils and the buds don’t look fully swollen yet. I’d personally give them about one more week, maybe a bit more depending on how fast they develop. You want most of the pistils to have darkened and curled in, and the calyxes to really bulk up. If you can, check the trichomes directly: Mostly clear: too early Mostly milk: peak window Some amber: more body effect Right now it looks like they’re still in that transition phase. Soon u can go to the candyshop 😉 Have fun and a nice Harvest.

many stress factors appear in this photo, including the very high temperature, or move the light or decrease the power and wait until 90% of the pistils are orange so if they are it's ready

you want mostly cloudy trichomes with some amber (10–20%), so check with a loupe before harvesting

Salut !

You could harvest now or you could wait another 5-7 days, but no longer than that. Harvesting on the weekend is what I would doing.

The trichomes on the calyxes are the best indication to tell if your plant is ready, if all cloudy this is when your THC content will be highest, once you start to see amber it is starting to turn to cbn and will give you more of a couch lock effect. 15-30% amber is a good time to harvest. But preference differentiates with each grower. A jewelers loup or magnifier app on your phone will help you focus on what the trichomes are doing. Hope this helps 🙏

pistil coloration / retraction bud density trichome color - calyxes only, ignore leaves. you're going to have to learn how to be familiar with how the plant ripens. Life is a bit messy and sometimes it looks slightly different. Some are hairier than others, for example, even if you wait for them all to turn rusty. sometimes a plant won't show amber and you'll wait there until it dies on the stem. you'll also have to figure out through trial and error whether you prefer early-middle-late harvest... nobody can tell you when to harvest. you have to learn how to recognize what you prefer in a consistent way.
