If they were groundbreaking, why are targets for good production/productivity still the same? Still 50-70g/sq ft depending on ambient level of CO2 (just one facet...) Just go to 12/12.............no point freaking them out with extended darkness, it won't make them start flowering (noticeably) any sooner, it just stresses them. Half to three quarters strength is usually more than enough.............it is very easy to fix a slightly under fed plant, but very. very hard to rescue a burned over fed plant. Avoid defoliation..........your plant needs as many leaves as possible to make the most energy it can, so that it can grow its largest flowers. Less leaves = less energy being made = less potential. "Lollipopping" has a place though. Add humic/fulvic/amino acids to your line up.............they offer real benefits................forget molasses. A flowering time of 9-10 weeks is about average, but it can vary from 6 - 20 weeks depending on genetics...........Indicas least, Sativas longest (generally).

I do 48 hrs the proof is in my diary the stretch is almost as soon as the lights come back on. No wondering has 12 hrs flipped them.. Like @ATLien415 mentioned there's alot of old school science that's wrong and the fact we are growing a massively changed plant these days.. Be safe do 48hrs. It just makes sense ✌️💚

I always do that but I don't know if it really helps 🤣 I usually train when plant is 5-6 nodes then let them recover and train again if necessary. Then when I am planning on flipping to 12/12 a few days before defoliate and a last time after the streching period. I do only cut the leaves that are giving problems like blocking airflow and light tho!

Nah, just switch your light timer to 12/12. That will be plenty good enough. Yep, precisely what you do when you want to flip into flower. Start a 12/12 cycle. Since the plant will be growing as big as it can during the first 2-4 weeks of flipping over to a 12/12 cycle, I like to keep giving veg teas for a week or two, instead of switching right over to using flowering teas/nutrients. The finishing time is very strain dependant. Some landraces, for example, need 20 weeks or more to fully develop. A lot of hybrids and polyhybrids on the market today finish in 8-11 weeks. But, always take the flowering time with a grain of salt. Some companies fib to try and sell more packs, due to claiming it flowers weeks (or even a month) faster than the strain truly takes. I count pairs, I strip down the after the 5th one. That helps the plant concentrated the plants its effort in the tops and improves are air flow at the bottom. I do it thrice. One on the first day of flip ones on the 21st and again 42nd.

Kill lights for 24hrs? Nah that is just going to stress them. Start a 12/12 cycle. Correct approach. Feed according to the athena charts. Use half of whats advertised. Any pointers on defoliation. Dont. Unless you have a good reason for that. Anything else I need to do/change. They need a slightly higher PH in flower (6.5) This stage an 8-12 week time frame? thats the usual time Frame for flowering ,correct (depends a bit on the strain oc)
