Hey growmie, youâre right in that classic âwhy wonât they turn amber alreadyâ phase đ
Been there plenty of times.
Honestly, at this point thereâs not a whole lot you can force. Once theyâre cloudy, youâre basically waiting on a slow natural fade - itâs more about the plant aging than âripening faster.â
If I were in your shoes, Iâd just keep things steady and maybe give it a gentle nudge:
Let temps dip a bit, especially at night (cooler nights seem to help them finish out)
Donât push the light harder - if anything, backing it off slightly is better than blasting them
Keep feeding light / low nitrogen if youâre still feeding at all
Good airflow, keep humidity in check - just clean conditions while you wait it out
All that stuff like UV, far-red, stressing them, or dark periods⊠Iâve tried some of it over runs, and honestly, nothing really forces amber faster in a meaningful way. Mostly bro science or tiny effects at best.
Big thing too - some strains just donât go heavy amber. You might only ever see like 5â10%, and theyâll sit cloudy for ages. And cloudy is basically peak THC anyway, so youâre already in the sweet spot.
From your pics, you look super close. Iâd just give it another few days to a week and keep checking the calyx trichs (not the sugar leaves) - thatâs where people get tricked into waiting too long.
Youâve done the hard part already. Now itâs just patience đ
