Honestly you already did the right move with the defoliation, but since sheās bouncing back that fast it means sheās healthy and can take a bit more ā just donāt go too aggressive all at once. Instead of another heavy strip, Iād go with light, selective defoliation every few days. Focus on the big fan leaves that are blocking light to lower sites and anything sitting in the middle with no airflow.
At this stage itās not just about removing leaves, itās more about opening her up. You can also combine it with a bit of LST, just spreading branches out so light actually penetrates the canopy. Thatāll do more than just constantly plucking leaves.
If you keep ripping too much at once, yeah youāll slow her down, but small maintenance defoliation + training = perfect balance. Also make sure the underside isnāt turning into a jungle, a bit of cleanup down there helps airflow a lot and prevents future issues.
She looks strong though, so youāve got some room to work with ā just guide her instead of fighting her growth.
