Optimal harvest time?

Penguin
Penguinstarted grow question 5 years ago
Optimal time to harvest? I can see a few amber trichomes but find it hard to tell the clear and cloudy apart in my best effort pictures. I'd love a stronger head high with couchlock being a secondary trait I'm looking for. Can I achieve this by harvesting at a certain time?

Well you want fewer amber trics at the expense of having some clear still around. Looks like another week, still more clear than one would like on board. If you are already in flush you timed it well. If not now would be good

Hi @Penguin I use a microscopic lupe and like to harvest when the trichomes are generally all milky in color and a few amber. Another good way to see is through the pistils, they must be 90% brown and 10% white. The pistils on your plant seem to be still many of them white, I would wait another week just giving them water. good luck mate 👍

I am exactly the same with my plant. It's been decided that I go 1 week over the estimated date but in the last 2 days I will be providing no light at all. I struggle with the cloudiness or the glass like trichs. Hope you get the help you need dude 🤞
