Dear Growers. Please advice if I can harvest both plants in 7 days? Tricomes are cloudy, smell is potent, I have not seen growth in buds from past 5 days just more tricomes. Please advice next step and process of harvesting, drying and curing. Thanks!

Hey K0KA420! Looking at the frosty ladies in image, you are definitely entering the harvest window. Since your trichomes are already cloudy and bud growth has stalled, harvesting in 7 days is a solid plan this extra week will likely allow a few more trichomes to turn amber for a more relaxed effect. For the process, start by flushing with plain water if you haven't already. Once you cut them down, hang the whole plants upside down in a dark room with a temperature around 18°C and 60% humidity for about 7-10 days until the small stems "snap" rather than bend. After that, trim the buds and place them in glass jars, opening them daily (burping) for 15 minutes over the next 2-3 weeks to cure them perfectly. Happy Growing Growmie🌱

Time to stop feeding. Plants need to break down its nutrients. To trigger the starch stored during growth to be converted back into glucose. To make sweet candy buds .

Observe and react. Nobody can tell you how ripe you want it. If you haven't experimented with enough harvests, you'll just have to work that out over time. That anxiety fades. Be systematic about it and you'll shorten the learning curve. The only wrinkle i find to that is that some plants don't seem to show much amber even if the plant nearly dies on the stem, lol. Not a problem if you prefer the late-window stuff, but i'm not a fan so i also use a 'max days from fully fattened' rule... it's not rigid, but i won't go more than 7-10 days beyond fully fattened colas... thats a personal choice, not a recommendation. But, just use physical observances and react to it -- that'll keep you honest and consistent. Can easily adjust as you better learn your preference on ripeness.

hi my friend.Your plants look beautiful and very close to the finish line. If bud growth has stopped and the trichomes are milky, you are in the harvest window. Yes. At this stage, your buds look dense and the pistils are mostly brown and retracted. Use these 7 days for a final rinse with clean water (if not already done) to force the plant to consume its nutrient reserves stored in the leaves. This will greatly improve the taste. but the best way to find out is with a pocket microscope. it costs 10 euro and this is the best way to determine it. good evening see you soon

Since your trichomes are mostly cloudy and you’re already in the harvest window, you are simply ready. At this stage the plant is at peak potency, and you won’t gain more bud size or significant THC increase by waiting longer. Any extra time will only slowly shift more trichomes toward amber, which gives a heavier, more sedative effect. So you can harvest now or within the next 7 days depending on your preference. Now = more clear, energetic effect. A bit later = slightly more body, more relaxing effect. You’re basically at the finish line.

Quite simple, Plants look close to harvest and 7 days seems realistic. Buds appear mature with mostly cloudy trichomes and strong smell. Little bud growth now is normal in late flower as the plant focuses more on resin production. Before harvest keep humidity around 45-50%, avoid heavy feeding, and check trichomes directly on buds. Harvest when mostly cloudy with some amber for best balance. Dry slowly in darkness at 16-20°C and 55-60% humidity for 7-14 days with gentle airflow. Jar cure at 60-62% RH and burp jars daily during first week for best flavor and smoothness.

Looking at your pictures your not far off, could be ready in 7 days but be prepared to wait a little longer, I can't see many Amber trichomes yet and my preference is generally to have 5% Amber trichomes. It's all down to your personal preferences. In 7 days she may be developed enough for you to chop. Good luck with the harvest.

Judge harvest time on multiple points. Trichomes, - some amber, mostly cloudy, little clear. Pistils - over 80-90% dried back. Growth levels - low to no active growth Feeding/drinking. - drinking less and feeding less. Near the end the plant will start to bulk up the buds and seem like its not doing much. just after this is when you want to harvest. Chop and hang dry or process the fresh buds. The plants in the pic are looking a bit smaller still. so you might have some time left... their was a pic in week 15 of your diary that was clear no were near ready and we are only 2 weeks out from that on week 17. I think it needs a bit more time 2weeks. but if your pressed and can't wait then do the chop. its your call.
