Hi there, Amber pistils (not trichomes here in picture visible) are an indicator yes, and I prefer to harvest at roughly 80 percent amber. But turning amber isn't enough, as you can see the pistils are straight upward yet. When they ripen, they curl inwards through the buds. Enjoy your grow!

Too early to look at trichomes... trichomes are maturing at various points throughout grow, so you 'can' find them long before a proper harvest window. Don't bother scoping, beside general interest, before the calyxes fully fatten up... it's never done before that point anyway. Even then you probably have 5-15 days longer. There's variation in how they finish... some really put the jets on and others simmer.

Don't stress out. I doubt your trichomes are amber yet. You have way to many white pistils and they haven't even started to shrivel yet. You weeks and weeks away yet. There is no need to do a flush and Flushing is only ever needed if your grow medium is so out of balance, eg you ph is massively out of range or you have an imbalance of nutrition, both would have to be extreme to even warrant a flush. Near the end of a grow maybe 2 weeks away from when I'm expecting a plant to finish I don't bother really with nutes as my medium generally has enough nutrition in it to last until the end by then.

if your trichomes are mostly amber, you can skip it honestly. Flushing takes 7–10 days, and your plants are ready now. Flushing won’t mess them up, but it’s not necessary at this stage either. Here’s what I’d do: just chop them. Don’t overthink it. They look mature, trichomes say they’re done, and waiting another week or two just gives you diminishing returns. You’re stressed for nothing your first grow is finishing and it looks solid. The three plants being different is normal. Some plants finish before others. You can harvest the riper ones now and let the greenest one go another week if you want, or just take them all down and be done.

Hey Shazzabee, I totally get the stress, but take a deep breath because you haven't ruined anything! Looking at image.png, your plants still have plenty of white pistils reaching out, which usually means they are still bulking up and haven't quite reached the finish line yet. If you're seeing 80% amber, make sure you're looking at the trichomes on the actual buds and not the "sugar leaves," as those amber much faster and can be deceptive. Even if they are maturing quickly, you aren't "too far gone"; a higher amber percentage just means a more couch-lock, sedative effect. You can start a light flush now for about a week to 10 days if you feel they're close, as flushing won't "mess everything up" at this stage it just encourages the plant to use up its remaining stored nutrients. Trust your eyes on the bud sites, stay patient, and you’ll have a great harvest. Happy Growing Growmie🌱

You’re confusing trichomes and pistil (hairs) I think… From the pictures, perhaps another 2-3 weeks, it’s hard to tell without more details. Just give it plain water from now.

I think your talking 80% amber pistils or? Try zoom in on your buds, a 50x on a phone. You'll get a good glance at those trichomes. I'd say you still have some densining up ahead of you. Star flushing in a week minimum. See how they look then. Good luck bud!
