"Fast" flowering, regardless of breeder is just a gimmick. I'd go with any non-fast version of the strain before doing a 'fast' version, but it wouldn't stop me from buying a strain i wanted, either, if all they had was a 'fast' strain.
"Fast" strains are a gimmick. Especially the ones mixing in ruderalis genetics... Autoflowers have the same basic variable timeframe for flower phase as photoperiods. better off selecting photopoeriods with shorter flower phases in hopes of maximizing that trait in future generations. The difference is people count flower phase for each in vastly different ways, which accounts for the perception that autoflowers are somehow faster... No, they just have short vege phases and the first 1-2 weeks of flower are not recognized because of the limitations of using the naked eye. Easy to win a race when you don't count the first 1-2 weeks, bwahah.
